Our brief from this client was to create a family home that echos the rural setting it is built in.

We focused on balancing durable surfaces with colours that respected the rural setting and injected personality, drawn from our clients favourite colours/textures.

The interior theme can be described as contemporary country - natural products, textiles and colours work harmoniously with the stunning rural site . The colour palette is enduring and flexible to changes as trends and personal tastes change.

This home is positioned on top of a hill, surrounded by a sweeping treelined driveway. It is light filled with two living areas, two bathrooms, four bedrooms, a separate study and a glorious amount of storage in the laundry, bedrooms, living areas and garage, and lets not forget that there is also a mud-room which is handy after weekend sports or milking the cows.

On a clear day, you can see glimpses of Mt Ruapehu from the picture windows in multiple rooms.
